Rosie Falkner

Rosie is a Financial Crime Consultant at Avyse Partners and has over seven years’ experience working within the financial services sector, supporting clients largely in the fund management, wealth management and investment advisory sectors navigate the complex regulatory environment. She builds lasting relationships with clients, both on an ad-hoc and more long-term basis, ensuring they receive the best possible advice and service. Rosie was also Deputy MLRO at her previous firm.

Illustrative experience:

• Rosie has been a key player in the delivery of a large-scale response to a S166 skilled person review and subsequent follow-on review on the effective oversight of appointed representatives.

• Rosie was Deputy MLRO which most recently involved enhancing financial crime control risks across the firm, implementing a firm-wide AML risk assessment and enhancing financial crime policies and procedures in line with updated regulations and expectations.

• Rosie has supported clients operating in higher risk jurisdictions and industries ensuring they have sufficient onboarding and monitoring controls in place when undertaking enhanced due diligence.

• Rosie has undertaken a lessons learned exercise on sanctions post the Russian invasion of Ukraine to help the firm improve their readiness to respond to future events.
