Directed UK compliance and group independent oversight at a global payments business. He led teams of around 30 across the UK, EEA and US, deputised for the UK Chief Compliance Officer and MLRO, and piloted an AI-assisted approach to control design testing estimated to halve the resource required.

In his spare time, Johnny is most often found enjoying a good film, with horror being a particular favourite. He also enjoys reading and listening to a wide range of podcasts, always on the lookout for his next recommendation. Much of his free time is happily devoted to his golden retriever puppy, Poppy, whose ever-growing list of wants, needs, and demands keeps life entertaining.
Weekends are often spent cooking for his partner, hiking in the Surrey Hills or further afield in the Scottish countryside and unwinding with a puzzle or a complicated LEGO set. He's currently working his way through The Endurance, though progress is regularly interrupted by Poppy.
