Isobel Gibson, Consultant

Meet Isobel

Isobel has seven years’ experience working within the sustainability sector, holding a range of roles across corporate and consulting functions. She works on projects covering all three pillars of ESG - environmental, social, & governance. This includes the writing of climate change policies, as well as both S166 and enterprise-wide risk assessments on aspects such as modern slavery, due diligence, and organisational oversight.

Illustrative experience:

  • Isobel has experience in compiling and submitting sustainability reports, including CDP and the Responsible Business Alliance, for a large international organisation.

  • She has completed s166 reviews for several organisations, covering topics such as governance and oversight, policies and procedures, and control processes.

  • Isobel has advised the aviation value chain, including airlines, airports, governments, and other stakeholders, on topics such as decarbonisation roadmaps, benchmarking initiatives, and sustainable fuels.

  • She has designed, implemented, and reviewed broad sustainability initiatives and strategies across a variety of sectors.

Isobel lives in Brighton and enjoys going for runs along the seafront, come rain or shine! She loves nothing more than the post-parkrun americano and almond croissant ritual to kick-start her weekends.

While Isobel would describe herself as more of a dog person, she has a cat called Mouse who is often seen to make an appearance on Teams calls. When not running, cuddling Mouse, or drinking coffee, Isobel can be found in a sunny spot in a local watering hole with a spicy margarita or glass of malbec.
