Amy is Yorkshire based, and lives in Leeds with her husband, Antony, and their strongly independent Jack Russell cross, Alfred.
Amy spends a lot of her free time at gigs with Antony and is a regular Glastonbury attendee. When not at a gig Amy enjoys cooking for friends, running or playing for her continuously improving netball team, Anne Ballin’.
Meet Amy
Amy joined Avyse in July 2024 and has over seven years' experience working in a Compliance role within the financial services sector, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance. She has a solid consulting background from her previous role within the Big Four and practical industry experience from working at a financial services lender. Amy's expertise covers a wide range of areas, including Consumer Duty, product governance, oversight and governance, risk management and compliance monitoring.
Experience:
Amy has worked across multiple s166 projects, including a large multi-firm general insurance s166 Skilled Person Review, playing a key role within the data-led approach to the review.
Amy has supported outcomes testing reviews including BIFID reviews. Conducting testing, identifying key themes and creating final reports for clients.
Amy has previously led engagements that reviewed Firms' approaches to Consumer Duty, focusing on their approach to the products and services and price and value outcomes. Providing insightful feedback and practical recommendations.
Amy has supported numerous due diligence reviews, providing detailed observations and feedback across areas such as governance and controls frameworks and the Firm’s approach to regulatory developments.
