Senior Consultants at Avsye are pivotal to the success of the company, helping us deliver outcomes focused solutions for our clients.
We are looking for a Senior Fraud Lead, who will be the firm’s subject matter expert on all fraud-related matters.
We will need someone who is a seasoned fraud expert and has a credible market presence, who can lead our fraud conversations across the market and win, deliver and/or quality assure our fraud work.
They will play a critical role in establishing and growing our fraud offering, including s166 and quasi s166 reviews.

Essential
Alignment to our values
At least 10 years’ experience as a fraud subject matter expert, ideally 5 years spent in consulting.
Comprehensive working knowledge of the UK fraud framework, including the Failure to Prevent Fraud offence, APP fraud and reimbursement scheme.
Strong written communication skills
Strong verbal communication
Proven track record in managing stakeholder relationships including regulatory reviews
An entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to lead – setting the direction for you and others with minimal supervision or direction
A long-term mindset and a passion for self-improvement
A strong network of professionals in anti-fraud roles

Fraud Compliance Expertise: Act as the primary fraud expert, providing advice to clients, leading the delivery of reviews, undertaking fraud risk assessments, designing and implementing fraud frameworks, performing QA on engagement deliverables and identifying/managing engagement risks
Skilled Person and Quasi Skilled Person Review: Lead and QA fraud reviews or fraud-related elements of reviews
Team growth and leadership: Enhance the current team's fraud expertise through training, knowledge sharing and through leadership. Grow and manage a team of fraud consultants.
Business Development: Lead client acquisition efforts and practice growth
Stakeholder Engagement: Initiate, establish and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, actual clients, regulatory bodies and trade associations
Lead internal initiatives, processes, and solutions – seeking to continually improve the effectiveness and efficiency of how we operate
Articulate insightful and compelling perspectives and opinions on relevant regulatory trends and activities, i.e. fraud regulatory developments, multi-firm reviews and any enforcement action
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of regulatory matters and future developments
Develop compelling and profitable product and service offerings
Maintain constructive working relationships with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders
Treat the firm like your business and factor this into your actions and decisions
