Ade, Consultant
In his spare time, Ade remains busy keeping his energetic three boys entertained. Attempting to also maintain his goal to see the majority of the world (somewhat limited due to the three energetic boys), he is an avid traveller with journeys vary from skiing in Banff to hiking the Lions Head mountain.
He also enjoys his “quiet time” in the gym or during yoga and is always looking for friendly competition whether its football or tennis (more recently padel!)
Meet Ade
Ade has over 10 years’ experience working within financial services, six of which have been within regulatory consulting. He has a good rapport with clients and provides pragmatic solutions to complex problems on both an interim and longer-term basis.
Experience:
Ade has led the fieldwork, reporting and stakeholder management on several s166 reviews, across sectors for firms of various sizes, with recent reviews being specific to the UK stockbroking industry.
Ade has also provided firm side support for those under regulatory scrutiny. He recently completed a 1-year secondment with a global bank, focussing on providing advisory support regarding the firm’s response to a s166 review.
Ade led the design, impact assessment and implementation of an interim transaction monitoring solution for a global wealth manager undergoing a financial crime transformation. This included process improvements for the back-office functions and implementing an end-to-end strategic workflow.
Ade has also supported firms operating in higher risk industries such as cryptocurrency, demonstrated through a financial crime framework review he led on a US based cryptocurrency exchange operating in the UK.
